Who are we?
The Master Surgeon (TMS) Trust is a small scale not for profit
organisation based in the United Kingdom. HMRC Ref: EW03332.
What are your rights as a data subject?
Individual data subjects have the following rights under the
GDPR which we will always work to uphold:
· The right to be informed about our collection and use of your personal
data (as described in this Privacy Policy).
· The right to access your personal data by means of a subject access
request (see below).
· The right to have your personal data rectified if any of your personal
data held by us is inaccurate or incomplete. You can do this by
contacting us (see below)
· The right to erasure (also known as the right to be forgotten). You can
exercise this right either by contacting us.
· The right to restrict or object to our processing of your personal data
for particular purposes. E.g. for if you want to unsubscribe from our
maligning list (see below)
· The right to data portability. You can ask us for a copy of your
personal data to re-use with another service or business. We can provide
this in electronic format only
· Rights relating to automated decision-making and profiling. Our
services do not use your data in this regard.

complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office if you feel that

What information will we collect?
With your consent we may collect your name, date of birth, email address,
telephone number, address, country of residence and place of work through
our website, digital newsletters, social media platforms, application
forms (paper / electronic) and surveys. We do not collect or store any
other personally identifiable information.
Cookie policy
Cookies are technology used to deliver personalised content to you
through our digital services. Our services will use cookies but we will
not collect any personally identifiable information using these cookies.

about the cookies we use. We also use several third party service
providers (e.g. Google Analytics, Google AdSense, AddThis) on our

How do we process and store your information?
We will keep all information about you safe and secure and will not
divulge this to any party outside of our organisation.
Your information may be stored in our organisation’s secure accounts but
in secure computer servers which may be physically located outside of the
European Economic Area. These include SurveyMonkey (San Mateo,
California, USA), Mailchimp (Atlanta, Georgia, USA) and Google (Mountain
View, California, United States).
They must follow our rules about keeping your information safe. You can
find more information regarding this on their respective websites.
You can be rest assured that access to personal data you have supplied us
is limited only to us. They will follow our rules about keeping your
information safe in compliance with our privacy policy and data
protection rules.
How long will my data be stored?
We seek your consent to keep your data on our records indefinitely until
you ask us to delete it. You can contact us at any time on
tmscharity@gmail.com to request deletion of all your data we hold on
record.
What will we do with your information?
We use the information you have provided us to send you our newsletters,
contact you regarding our surveys or projects run by our organisation or
allied organisations. However, we will never divulge nor share
information we have collected from you with any other party outside of
our organisation.
How Can You Access Your Personal Data?
All personal data we hold about you can be requested by contacting us on
tmscharity@gmail.com. If you wish to make a data subject access request,
please do so in writing, sent to the email above. We may charge for
subject access requests if they are manifestly unfounded, excessive or
repetitive. We will respond to your subject access request within two
months of receiving it. We may need up to three months to respond to
complex requests.
What are your choices about how your information is used?
· You can request deletion of all personal data we have on store for you
by emailing tmscharity@gmail.com
· You can unsubscribe to our newsletter directly by clicking on the
unsubscribe button which will remove you from our mailing list only.

We reserve the right to make changes to our Privacy Policy from time to
