A 72 years old food critic presents with a painful left big toe. He denied any history of trauma or recent travel. He has a past medical history of hypertension and obesity. He takes bendroflumethiazide and amlodipine. He currently smokes and drinks 3 glasses of red wine per night. On examination, his observations are normal.
